Overview:

Dr. (Prof) Deepu Banerji is a distinguished neurosurgeon with more than four decades of experience in neurosurgery. He is currently a Senior Consultant and Director at the Department of Neurosurgery at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. He has trained internationally and is a ‘Sugita Fellow’ from Nagoya University, Japan, specializing in micro neurosurgical techniques.

His expertise spans across endoscopic pituitary and skull base surgery, brain tumor treatment, and spine surgeries. Dr. Banerji has significantly contributed to the field by establishing a neurosurgery center under FIENS (Foundation in International Education in International Surgery) at the National Neurosciences Centre, Kolkata.
